Overview

Mooncake Festival, also known as The Mid-Autumn Festival or Moon Festival, is a harvest festival celebrated in Chinese culture. Similar events are held across the world at this time of year, especially across Asia, with Têt Trung Thu in Vietnam, Chuseok in Korea, and Tsukimi in Japan.

Although it's early spring here in Melbourne, ISS and MONSU Peninsula wish to invite you to celebrate this year's Mooncake Festival before your mid-semester break.

We will be in the Student Lounge, Building U, from 12pm with a wide range of mooncakes, steam buns, and more!!!!

Make sure you keep an eye on our instagram @monsupeninsula so you never miss out on our events throughout the semester!

MONSU Peninsula is committed to running safe and respectful events.
