Why do we Wear it Purple?
WEAR IT PURPLE DAY strives to create inclusive and safe spaces for rainbow youth. It highlights the importance of increasing visability for those whom identify as members of the LGBTQI+ community, while building confidence and a sense of empowerment by doing so.
MONSU Peninsula is a long time supportive partner for Wear It Purple Day. We invite our students to join us in continued solidarity with the LGBTQI+ students on our campus to celebrate the significance of this day.
Join us on the Library Lawn for some fun activities to celebrate. Lunch will be available to those participating in this event.
