Hi everyone! This is Martin, an international student from Hong Kong. I am turning into a year 3 occupational therapy student in 2026. From my experience over the past two years, I have come to fully understand the hardships students face when adapting to a new life in a different country, as well as the need to connect with other international students. The firsthand experience tells me how vital it is for an international student to have support in a brand new environment, especially when you have no shelter here. This gives me the idea of being an international officer of MONSU, striving to assist all the international students.
I enjoy exploring around and playing sports, with volleyball being my favourite. I am also passionate about creative arts, including photography and story writing. These hobbies keep me inspired and connected with others. I’m always excited to share and exchange ideas with others who enjoy similar interests!
In 2026, I aspire to provide the platform and be the linkage that connects all the international students and provides all kinds of support that you may need. By collaborating with Gracia, I wish that we can create an inclusive and welcoming environment, bringing the perfect uni life for all of you!
