Studying: Occupational Therapy - Third Year

"Hello everyone, I am Matthew Wong Yu Hin and I'm thrilled to be your MONSU general officer in 2025!! 
I was born and raised in Hong Kong and now in my 3rd year of Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. I am a big fan of football (Arsenal), badminton, calligraphy, British Soft Rock and love exploring good food in Melbourne. 

As an international student, I found my uni-life more relaxing, enriching and hassle-free by joining the MONSU events in the last few years e.g. On-campus free lunch, Fresh Food Markets, Game events, Movie nights and … SO MUCH MORE !!! These experiences inspired me to take this opportunity to contribute to the campus and support students for a better uni experience. 

As a general officer, the main theme to work on this year will be: “Promotion and Engagement“, which aims at 

1. Promoting the service, support and events of MONSU 
2. Enhancing students' engagement on campus via collecting your feedback about your campus experience and advocating for you. All of your feedback matters!! :)  

I will be working along the lovely MONSU committees and also Wyong, another General Officer - To keep on establishing a warm, vibrant and supportive Peninsula Campus for all students. Can’t wait to meet some of the new faces on campus soon and feel free to say hi if you see me, I am more than happy to chat :)"
