The Student Welfare Department can address problems with a subject, lecturer, coursework, faculty, staff member or administration that needs attention from the relevant departments.
Issues that affect the University and local committees such as Youth Issues, Social Issues, Community Event Promotions as well as University service provision i.e. Community Services, Student Rights Issues and general student wellbeing issues.
The department is responsible for liaising with student rights advocates to bring issues to the University in these areas. Student Welfare has relationships with the University, Community Services, as well as local, state and federal governments so as to represent the needs, wants and demands of you, the students.
